Hello

As an international student in Canada, my life is not exactly a walk in the park. From dealing with governments even before I stepped foot in Canada to getting academics and employment in order, it is a challenge from start to finish. However, challenges are made to be dealt with and taken care of, and this one is no different. This website is a portal to demonstrate overcoming these challenges in a fun way, whilst at the same time being a tool to display myself to the public.

I was born in Baku, Azerbaijan on July 14th, 2004. Baku is a city with a population of 3 million people, and is known for hosting Formula 1 racing, having the world's biggest KFC at one point and its beautiful old city located in the heart of Baku. I have lived in Baku for 18 years and I am proud to call it home. I know the city like the back of my hand and I wish to go back someday to enjoy the boulevard's breeze, the sunny streets, and the fantastic food and entertainment it has to offer.

I have always been interested in history, and have been good with dates. History allowed me to feel comfortable in my memory and comprehension skill, but that is only one half of a truly great student. The ability to speak and present, and seem comfortable while doing so is a really valuable skill to have, and speaking and presenting on a topic you love and feel comfortable is just the cherry on top. The world of politics that is heavily discussed and tied to history has always fascinated me, and inspired me to pursue a degree doing both here at Memorial University!
